Thursday 02: Anaheim (B) Today is at leisure to explore Disneyland - The Magic Kingdom of Mickey Mouse.(own expense) Friday 03: Anaheim (B) Day free - today is an opportunity to travel south of the border to the Mexican border town of Tijuana.(own expense) The shopping is great! Bargains galore! Saturdayday 04: Anaheim (B) Day free - Options available Sunday 05: Camarillo (BD) Early morning departure from Anaheim to visit Downtown Los Angeles, Hollywood Man's Chinese Theatre. Early lunch at Farmers Market (own expense) After lunch we visit Universal Studios for a guided tour of the movie backlot and free action shows. We then travel north to Camarillo for our overnight stop. Quality Inn Monday 06: Monterey (B) Continue north along the Coast Highway visiting Hearst,s Castle, Big Sur, Carmel and on to Monterey. Best Western Monterey Inn Tuesday 07: Oakhurst (B) This morning we visit 17 Mile Drive, Monterey, and Cannery Row. After lunch (own expense)we continue on to Oakhurst - near Yosemite - for our overnight stay. Shilo Inn Wednesday 08: San Francisco (B) Full day tour of Yosemite National Park. After lunch (own expense) we travel on to San Francisco arriving early evening. Holiday Inn Express at Fisherman's Wharf - 2 nights Thursday 09: San Francisco (B) Morning tour of San Francisco visiting Downtown, Twin Peaks and Golden Gate Bridge. Lunch will be in Sausalito across The Bay (own expense) and on to Fisherman,s Wharf. The rest of the day is free. Friday 10: Eureka (BD) Heading north from San Francisco we cross the Golden Gate Bridge, travel through the Sonoma Wine Country and weather permitting, we will have a picnic lunch (own Expense)and continue through the Avenue of the Giant Redwood before arriving at Eureka for our overnight stop. Tonight we enjoy a sumptuous dinner at The Samoan Cookhouse. Clarion Resort. Saturday 11: Portland (B) Continue north on the coast highway, stopping at the Trees of Mystery and on to Crescent City and then turn inland to Grant's Pass. Thence via Eugene and Salem to Portland for overnight Crowne Plaza Portland Sunday 12: Victoria (B) Cross the Columbia River and head north via Olympia and on to Port Angeles where we board the ferry for Victoria. Queen Victoria Inn - 2 nights Monday 13: Victoria (BD) Morning tour of Victoria including Butchart Gardens . Afternoon free. Join your Tour Manager this evening for a special dinner. Tuesday 14: Vancouver (B) Today we travel north on Vancouver Island to Chemainus (the town of murals) visiting the Cowitchan Indian Village on the way then continue on to Nanaimo for the ferry trip toTsawwassen and on to Vancouver Executive Airport Plaza Hotel - 2 nights Wednesday 15: Vancouver (B) Morning sightseeing tour to introduce you to the natural beauty of Vancouver's spectacular setting. Visit historic Gastown, Downtown, Stanley Park and North Vancouver. Afternoon free. Thursday 16: Kamloops (B) Depart Vancouver and travel through the Fraser Canyon stopping at Hell's Gate (lunch own expense). In the afternoon we travel north to Cache Creek and then on to Kamloops. Comfort Inn & Suites Friday 17: Jasper (B) Leaving Kamloops we journey into the Canadian Rockies. Visit Mt. Robson National Park and continue on to Jasper. Mt Robson Inn Saturday 18: Columbia Icefields - Banff Today we travel down the Columbia Icefields to the Athabasca Glacier where we take an exciting trip on the glacier in the "Snocoach", We continue on to Banff - Canada,s first National Park. Tunnel Mt. Resort - 2 nights Sunday 19: Banff This morning we take a short tour of Banff township We then travel to Lake Louise visiting The Chateau and then retrun to Banff via the Bow Valley Parkway with an opportunity to see some wildlife. Rest of the day free. Monday 20: Polson (B) Leaving Banff, our journey takes us on to Calgary, and into Montana - " Big Sky Country ". and past Glacier National Park and stop for lunch at St Mary's Lodge (own expense) then continue on to Polson on the shores of Flathead Lake for our overnight stay. Kwataqnuk Best Western at Flathead Bay Tuesday 21: Billings This morning we travel on through Missoula and head east to Butte , once the mining capital of Montana, then through Boseman to Billings. Holiday Inn Grand Montana Wednesday 22: Deadwood (BD) This morning we visit the scene of Custer's Last Battle at the Big Horn National Monument, then travel on to Deadwood, home of Calamity Jane and Wild Bill Hickok Hickoks Hotel Deadwood Thursday 23: Mt. Rushmore - Mitchell (B) Leaving Deadwood we visit Bear Country USA and Mt. Rushmore National monument and then continue on to Mitchell for our overnight stop. Ramada Inn of Mitchell Friday 24: Madison (B) Today is basically a travel day as we travel through South Dakota and enter Wisconsin and then on to Madison for our overnight stay. Quality Inn & Suites Madison Saturday 25: Toledo (B) Leaving Madison we enter Illinois and drive through Chicago - "my kinda town" and then onto Toledo, the third busiest port of the Great Lakes Comfort Inn Sunday 26: Niagara Falls (B) Leaving Toledo we travel through Detroit- "Motor City" and follow the shores of Lake Erie and Lake Ontario to reach Niagara Falls ,our home for 2 nights Holiday Inn By-the-Falls. Monday 27: Niagara Falls (B) Today we see the 'honeymoon' capital of the world, Niagara Falls. There are many attractions to see (own expense). We will then travel on to the Floral Clock and then to Niagara-on-the-Lake and the opportunity to visit Fort George. We will stop and view the Welland Canal that connects Lake Erie and Lake Ontario before returning to our hotel. Tuesday 28: Ottawa (B) We leave Niagara Falls this morning and travel to Ottawa, Canada's National Capital with a tour of the city on the way to our hotel. Quality Hotel Downtown Wednesday 29: Montreal This morning we travel to the Sugar Shack a typical French Canadian establishment and an awesome lunch before travelling on to Montreal. Time is spent in the Old Quarter before continuing on to our hotel. Holiday Inn Montreal - Longueuil Thursday 30: Boston (B) Cross over the border to the United States through country settled by the pilgrims and admire the Fall Foliage colours along the way we will stop to see a traditional covered bridge and typical New England town and continue on to Boston. Fairfield Inn by Marriott - 2 nights October 2010 Friday 01: Boston (B) Our full day tour of Boston includes Old North Church in Old Town at North End. Lunch ( own expense) at Quincy Markets In the afternoon we may visit the USS Constitution, America's oldest active Naval Ship. Saturay 02: New York City (B) Today we travel from Boston to Plymouth Rock and a chance to see the Mayflower then on through Rhode Island and Connecticut and to New York City seeing parts of the city enroute Quality Inn Meadowlands - 2 nights Sunday 03: New York City (B) New York City Tour pointing out the highlights including the Statue of Liberty from Liberty Park, Central Park, Ground Zero, Empire State Building, Wall Street, Trump Tower, Harlem and the Bronx.
