Travel today takes us along Highway 15 through Salinas
& Provo in Utah and on to Salt Lake City for

This morning we travel through Utah , past the Great
Salt Lake to Idaho. Then through Jackson & Grand

Saturday 18: Yellowstone - Polson
Travel today to Butte, once the mining capital of
Montana , then west through Missoula to Polson on the
shores of Flathead Lake for our overnight stop.

Sunday 19: Polson - Calgary
Leaving Polson we travel around Flathead Lake to
Kalispell, past Glacier National Park to Calgary.

Monday 20 : Banff National Park
Morning tour of Calgary including Calgary Tower.
After lunch (own expense)we travel on to Banff

Tuesday 21: Banff - Lake Louise
This morning we take a short tour of Banff township.
We then travel to Lake Louise (lunch own expense)
visiting the Chateau and then return via the Bow
Valley Parkway with an opportunity to see some
wildlife . Rest of the day free.

Wednesday 22: Jasper National Park
Travel along the Icefields Parkway to the
Columbia Icefields and enjoy a ride on the "Ice
Explorer" on the Athabasca Glacier and then continue
on to Jasper.

Thursday 23: Dawson Creek
Travel through forest areas to the city of Prince
George. Our afternoon drive takes us north into the
Peace River District and on to Dawson Creek.

Friday 24: Alaska Highway Mile "O"
Misconceptions still surround the fabled toughness of
the Alaska Highway but now it is a well maintained
highway year round. Travel along the Alaska Highway
visiting Fort St. John and Fort Nelson to Summit Lake
and on to Muncho Lake for overnight.

Cross the Great Divide today and parallel Teslin Lake
on our way to Whitehorse.

Included today is the SS Klondike, McBride Museum
(optional)and Miles Canyon. This evening we have a
foot stomping time at the Frantic Follies.

Monday 27: Dawson City
This morning we follow the original Dawson -
Whitehorse winter road past Lake Lebarge of Robert
Service fame, then follow the Yukon River through the
goldfields to the Tintina trench and in to Dawson
City.

Morning city tour including the goldfields and Robert
Service's Cabin. Afternoon and evening free - Don't

Today we drive the Top of the World Highway to Delta
Junction, the northern terminus of the Alaska
Highway. Then follow the Richardson Highway to arrive
in Fairbanks the pipeline capital of Alaska.

Morning cruise on the old stern wheeeler "Discovery"
Afternoon tour of Fairbanks including the Santa Claus

Travel south on George Parks Highway, crossing the
Tanana River to Denali National Park. Experience the
magic of Denali with a 6/8 hour Tundra tour into the
Park. Denali is an Athabascan Indian word
meaning "Great One" and is the natural habitat of
moose, caribou, dall sheep and grizzly bears.

Depart by air for home port via Los Angeles.
